A spam banning frenzy is in full effect – DE-EVO-lution rules the day. Now, it’s more valuable than ever to run away form serving up junk and instead concentrating on building quality real content internet sites!
Oh no! A persons reviewer has got your online page inside their hot little hands and is going to read your words and search over your web site! Sounds like I am talking about the DMOZ Open Directory or even the Yahoo Directory, having said that i am referring to Google and Yahoo!
It’s no secret, Google, Yahoo and even MSN are banning websites in record numbers and it’s not just through the help of filters and algorhythms. Within their pursuit to offer only the best top quality search results with their visitors, search engines like google are adopting directory-like human reviewing techniques!
Search engines like google now have employees whose primary job is to browse the net trying to find spam and to allow them to push a control button and ban every internet site they are available across that they feel must not be on the first page.
Mainly in the top with their lists for human review are web sites which get complaints (usually AdSense type sites) alerted by web forms on the search engines like google that enable do-gooder surfers to simply report internet sites and point to them as spammers. Many people even volunteer to rat on spam sites. And when that’s insufficient, you will find a good chance your competition will put your sites from the ringer and when they uncover any spamliness they will likely rat you.
Actually, it’s very likely that it is competition which is fingering the websites to have banned as they may be angry at losing the top position to some competing marketer. The sole solution is always to play through the rules! Wait – there are no published rules… just a mantra that says do no evil…
But have you thought about the people who make web sites with good intentions? They’re not evil. They just don’t keep up to date on each of the top talk about this sort if thing plus they make a few mistakes like repeating keywords excessively.
And SEO aka Search Engine Optimisation – I become the sensation they (Google) think this can be EVIL. SEO optimizes pages for better rankings. We must not do this – should we
Well – it’s not immoral or unethical so I’ll increase up against the big G and say YES we should do those ideas… but we must be aware that some human reviewer may not accept us and push the button and banish us! Ouch! That hurts!
It’s just unsafe to employ borderline techniques these days. Overly hyped up pages with a lot of ads or JUST AdSense may appear to be strictly commercial. That by itself will not be bad, but they want encyclopedias to rank on top too. Not just commercial pages.
The reason being really pretty obvious by trying to view things from the search engine’s perspective.
What’s happening is the fact there are plenty of huge amounts of website pages on the market that the major search engines have a more and more difficult time of indexing and cataloging all the website pages their crawlers are spidering. Combine the massive development of the web with the proliferation of webmaster software that can build a large number of junk pages in the push of a button, and you’ve got a bulging inventory of website pages.
Those machine generated junk pages are clogging the hard drives and servers of the search engines.
To be honest that those who are the buyers of search engines like google, have already been complaining quite vocally this too many website pages that appear on the first page from the search engine results are nothing but webpages with links with other webpages. Junk directories with scraped search engine results. Made for AdSense (MFA) sites that are looking nothing but an advert click.
You know what I’m talking about. In other words, the automated in your face commercial junk is making it unpleasant and quite often challenging for the major search engines customers to find real content webpages.
So… to keep their customers from looking elsewhere, all of the search engines like google are now aggressively blacklisting garbage internet sites and removing them from their indexes.
Webmasters beware, the search engines are cleaning house and also the free ride is finished. Which means that the zillions of machine generated junk pages, that are presently an epidemic, can no more make webmasters money like they used to, if kdrevv money whatsoever.
You will find a better way though, and it also actually has a long term profit stream attached…. real content web sites! Yes, why not build web sites with real content which will last the test of time? Why build junk sites that can bite the dust when you can spend time on things which last? That’s the ticket! Build sites that last!
